MUSIC FOR THE SOUL

The Bahati Project extends far beyond the realm of jewelry, weaving its creative essence through a variety of art forms. Giuliana’s ultimate ambition is to curate a comprehensive and immersive experience for her audience – a sensory odyssey where African vibes flow harmoniously through jewelry, vibrant paintings and soulful electronic music.

Music is the lifeblood of the Bahati Project, an immersive force that deepens its storytelling. More than a complement to the visual artistry, it serves as a portal—an invitation to experience the spirit of each creation through sound. Every jewelry piece is more than an object; it is a story, a feeling, a vibration. To bring these narratives to life, Nia Zani—the musical identity embraced by Giuliana—releases individual tracks inspired by each piece.

The name Nia Zani carries profound meaning. Nia, meaning “purpose” in Swahili, reflects the deep intention behind her work, while Zani, meaning “gift” or “something unique” in various African cultures, speaks to the sacred, singular essence of her artistry. Within this expansive vision, she meticulously crafts jewelry interwoven with authentic African stories and tribal mythology, transforming each piece into a gateway to cultural depth and connection.

To extend this sensory experience, Nia Zani collaborates with musicians to translate these stories into sound. Partnering with Pablo Vicencio—known as Shamanic Catharsis—she has already brought three jewelry pieces to life through music. Their compositions fuse electronic beats with rhythms inspired by the pulse of Africa, weaving a rich and immersive soundscape. Designed for both deep listening and movement, the music flows effortlessly—from intimate spaces to festival stages, remixes, and cross-cultural collaborations.

The tracks produced with Pablo took shape at the enchanting Labyrinth Studio in Bali, a place close to her heart. However, as her collection expands, so does the need for new sonic interpretations. Open to collaboration, Nia Zaniwelcomes producers who resonate with her vision, ensuring that every creation finds its own voice—one that echoes its essence and enriches the journey.

Beyond art and sound, the Bahati Project carries a deeper purpose. A percentage of all jewelry sales supports the establishment of a private art school in Africa. This philanthropic mission extends to the music as well, with a portion of its proceeds helping to bring this vision to life—bridging creativity, culture, and impact on a global scale.

In essence, the BAHATI Project is not just an artistic venture; it's a symphony of cultural resonance, creative collaboration, and social responsibility, weaving together diverse threads to craft a tapestry that breaks through conventional barriers.
